Tuscany – online cooking class

Traditional Tuscan cuisine is famed around the world for a reason: the simplicity of the dishes brings out the natural flavours of seasonal quality produce. The basis for many dishes forms around various kinds of legumes, vegetables and herbs that are served with meats, cheese and, of course, olive oil. During the class we will prepare e.g. pappa al pomodoro soup, fresh pasta and cantuccini biscuits.

The course recipes include wheat, dairy products, nuts and eggs.

Information about the cooking class

• The online cooking class will be held on Wednesday 13th of October at 17.00–19.00
• One week before the class the teacher will e-mail you the recipes, shopping list and instructions for participation.
• Please note that the materials will be sent to the e-mail informed when registering. Make sure your e-mail is written correctly and is in active use. Check that our e-mail isn’t in the junk mail.
• The online cooking class is 25 € for Martha members and 30 € for everyone else. The price includes the recipes, shopping list and online teaching. Each participants buys the needed ingredients beforehand.
• We will prepare a 3–4 course menu during the class.
• Participation requires a computer or mobile phone with a working internet connection and the basic skills to use your device.
• You will be able to participate with basic kitchen utensils and tools. No special utensils or tools are required.

Enrolling to the course

• Enrollment is done by buying a ticket.
• The enrollment is binding. We do not return the course fee, if the participation is cancelled by the participant.
• Course enrollment opens on the 15th of May.
• Course enrollment closes three days before the course.

Other information

• The remote class will be held in Microsoft Teams. The link to the meeting will be sent a week before the class.
• A recording will be made of the class and it will be available to the participants for two weeks.
